Dane Bryans joins as Head of Product Delivery

Dane Bryans has joined PlainSail as Head of Product Delivery, taking responsibility for client implementations, data migrations, and onboarding.

Dane was previously managing director of an IT managed service provider, where he led complex technology projects from scoping through to go-live. That experience – managing timelines, coordinating technical teams, and keeping client expectations aligned with reality – translates directly to what PlainSail’s growing client base needs.

Why implementation matters

Switching trust administration platforms is a significant undertaking. It involves migrating years of entity data, financial records, compliance histories, and documents – all while keeping day-to-day operations running. The quality of the implementation process determines whether a new platform delivers value quickly or becomes a source of frustration.

Dane’s role is to make sure every implementation is structured, predictable, and thorough. That means a clear project plan, regular communication, and the development team available throughout – not just at the start.

What this means for clients

New clients will work directly with Dane from the first scoping conversation through to go-live and beyond. He coordinates between the client’s team and PlainSail’s developers to ensure that data is migrated accurately, configurations match the client’s workflows, and training is delivered at the right time.

For existing clients, Dane also oversees ongoing onboarding for new modules and features, ensuring that platform changes are adopted smoothly and with proper support.
